A Look at the Document Management System Microsoft SharePoint

There are over a half dozen different types of document management systems available to businesses all over the world. The most popular document management system that many businesses choose to use is known as the Microsoft SharePoint. Here is a look at what Microsoft SharePoint offers businesses that choose to use this document management system.

The biggest benefit of Microsoft SharePoint is the ability to show a workflow template to anyone that has access to the system. A workflow template allows businesses to develop a system for the flow of documents. That means someone can upload the document, then send it over to get reviewed and finally the document can be archived in the records. A workflow template will show everyone where the document is and where it needs to go next.

Another great benefit of the Microsoft SharePoint system is the ability to make documents and files a collaborative effort. One member of the staff can upload a document at one point in time and another member can come along and add to the document or edit any type of information. There is even a setting that allows only certain members with the right access to edit so not everyone is editing a document. This collaborative effort is great for businesses that are always changing their documents or updating information.

The last benefit of the Microsoft SharePoint is the ability to publish and create web content. SharePoint is more than just a document management system it is also a creation software. People can create blog posts and wikipages just using the system.

How to Do the Chin Lock Breathwork Exercise

One of the essential elements of the yoga practice is known as breathwork or pranayama. Breathwork allows the body to release toxins and rejuvenate the spirit, mind and body. In fact, breathwork is so effective that many people choose to just engage in the breathwork portion of yoga and not the exercise part.

There are many different types of breathwork techniques that are used in yoga. One of breathwork techniques is known as the chin lock breathwork or the Jalahandhara Bandha. The chin lock is a moderately difficult breathwork practice that cleanses of toxins and reenergizes the body.

Here is a look at how the chin lock breathwork is performed.

Step 1. Sit down comfortable either on the floor in a cross-legged position or on a chair. Choose whichever one is most comfortable for you.

Step 2. Take a couple of cleansing breaths. Cleansing breaths will allow you to approach your breathwork with an open mind. Make sure that you are breathing in and out through the nose and not the mouth.

Step 3. After the cleansing breaths place your hands on the top of your thighs and begin the chin lock breathwork. To begin take a deep breath in and lower your chin to your neck. As you breathe in bend at the hips and try to hunch your shoulders.

Step 4. Hold the position of your body for around ten seconds. After ten seconds, start to raise your head and let your breath out very slowly through the nose. As you move your head upwards move your spine so that you are back in a sitting position.

Step 5. Once back into a sitting position take two or three cleansing breaths and repeat steps three and four. Try to engage in this practice about five to eights times every two or three days. As you advance and become more comfortable with the breathwork exercise you can increase the repetitions of the breathwork exercise.

How to Assess if Breathwork is Working for You

Breathwork is a very subtle psychotherapeutic technique. Due to the subtle nature of the breathwork many people engage in a couple of breathwork sessions and feel that they no longer need them because they are not seeing dramatic changes. While you might not see sudden changes happening from your breathwork exercise there are subtle changes that are happening.

If you are engaging in breathwork exercises or breathwork sessions here is a look at how you can tell if they are working for you.

Are You Surrendering Yourself? Many people enter breathwork with a closed mind. They believe that it will do them no good and that it is a waste of time. Their closed off nature causes the breathwork exercises to not work for them because they have closed their Ego off to releasing and stress or negative energies. If you are wondering if breathwork is working for you ask yourself do you enter each session with an open mind and try to allow yourself to cleanse yourself of the negative thoughts and emotions?

Are There Physical Benefits? Try to sit back and see if you notice any physical benefits that come from breathwork. The physical benefits can range from decreased amounts of stress, less tension that is held in the muscles and other parts of the body, a relaxed overall feeling and an increased sense of energy. Many people who engage in breathwork will often report that they are feeling less fatigued throughout the day. Try to consider the physical benefits if you are not sure breathwork is working for you.

How Breathwork is Used to Reduce Stress

Life can be very stressful. Stress is often attributed to many health conditions from heart attacks and strokes to anxiety disorders. This is why it is important that you learn how to properly channel your stress. While there dozens of relaxation techniques out there one of the oldest forms of stress relief techniques out there is the use of breathwork exercises.

Breathwork exercises use the practice of learning to breathe properly and in regular intervals to reduce the amount of stress that the body is holding in. It is believed that when the body knows how to breathe properly it releases the stress that it is holding onto and allows you to lead a less stress filled life.

Here is a look at some of the breathwork techniques that are used to reduce stress.

Learning to Properly Breathe. Adults tend to breathe using the upper portions of their lungs. Using the upper portions of their lungs means that the body is receiving less oxygen and this can often lead to increased less of stress in the body. Breathwork will work to regulate the way that you breathe so that you are using the lower portion of the lungs as well as the upper portions thus maximizing the amount of oxygen in the body.

Stress Relieving Exercises. Many breathwork exercises are combined with some form of stress relieving exercises like yoga and pilates. Exercise is believed to help reduce the amount of stress that the body holds and the combination of proper breathing and exercises leads the body to relieve the amount of stress it holds.

Stress Relief Through Meditation. If the breathwork is not paired with a form of stress relieving exercises it can often be paired with a form of meditation. Meditation allows the whole body to get a bit of rest and relax from daily stress. The combination of breathwork and meditation allows people to relieve themselves of built up stress.

Breathwork is sometimes associated with different forms of yoga. One of the common forms of yoga known as Kundalini yoga uses an exercise known as the Breath of Fire or the Kapalabhati breathwork as a part of the yoga practice. It is believed that when a person uses the Breath of Fire they are able to cleanse the body of harmful toxins that might have been built up in the body as well as energizing both the body and the mind.

The Breath of Fire breathwork is a breathwork exercise that involves very rapid, rhythmic breathing. It is often used by those that are looking to cleanse their system or to refocus or push away fatigue.

If you are curious about how to do the Breath of Fire breathwork exercise here is a step by step guide on how to perform this exercise.

Step 1. Place yourself in a sitting position. You can either sit on the floor or a chair whichever is most comfortable to you. Once sitting try to relax the body and focus the mind on the task at hand.

Step 2. As soon as your focus has been achieved place your hand on your stomach and begin by taking a deep breath. The breath should be taken through your nose and not the mouth. When you inhale you should feel the stomach pushing in an outward motion this is a sign you are doing it right.

Step 3. Release the breath by exhaling through your nose. Your stomach should move inward as you exhale.

Step 4. Immediately begin the process of inhaling/exhaling again. There should be a slight sniffing sound that you make when you inhale. To achieve the Breath of Fire breathwork you need to start immediately after exhaling.

Step 5. Repeat the inhaling and exhaling practice somewhere between 15 and 20 times. This should be enough to cleanse the body and reenergize yourself.

The Folder System Leads to Great Document Management

For many people, the computer is their home base. It is where they work, eat and play. It is where a majority of their interactions and social contact happens. With this huge reliance upon the Internet and computers for both work and play, it can make a computer desk a pretty busy place.

With all that is happening on the computer and being stored there, from computer games to business reports and personal files, it can be a very confusing place. That’s why many computer users are encouraged to develop a document management system for their computer.

Creating a document management system can sound pretty intimidating, but it is a fairly simple process. Developing a system is as easy as sitting down and developing a physical file system. This system will allow computer users to be able to use the computer and store files without facing the risk of losing them or having to spend hours looking for something they need.

To make the process simple, document management systems can be broken down into this single instruction: Create folders on your computer, lots of folders.

Folders are the basic structure behind document managing. Most users will create a folder for each need that they have. There might be individual folders for video games, school papers, and insurance information. Each folder is labeled appropriately, and when a relevant document or piece of information needs to be saved, it is saved directly into that folder.

While it might seem like a fairly simple process, document managing and system structure will only be as effective as the user. If the user does not get into the habit of saving files in their appropriate folders, then the system will fail and the computer will go back to being a free-for-all receptacle for information.

Since the first photo in 1826, people have used pictures to document important events and memories. Scrapbooking became a way for people to highlight those memories in an attractive setup that freed pictures from the box in the closet.

Digital cameras further added to a reduction in the amount of pictures lying around a house; however, they elevated scrapbooking to a new level: online scrapbooking. Today, you can make a digital scrapbook to preserve childhood memories. As an added perk, you can even send your scrapbook electronically to friends and family.

If you want to display your digital photos, consider using scrapbook software for download. With programs, such as My Memories Suite, even beginners can scrap like pros in just a few short minutes. Scrapbook software programs usually have the following features:

~ A drag-and-drop option to place photos on the scrapbooking page.

~ Basic photo editing tools, such as crop or rotate.

~ Word art and digital embellishments to create visually appealing pages.

Even people who love to scrapbook with actual photos enjoy the benefits of online scrapbooking programs. The online program reduces the cost of scrapbooking, making it more affordable as a hobby. You can reuse templates, papers, and embellishments without having to run out to a craft store. If you purchase additional scrapbooking items, you can add them to your online collection to use repeatedly.

Some software for download comes with a trial version, so you can test out the features before you commit to a purchase. If you like what you see, it’s easy to install the full version. If you want to keep searching, you can use the trial version until you find something better.

When you take advantage of scrapbooking, whether online or off, you can use your creativity and personality to make a legacy you can pass on to your children once they get older and begin having children of their own.

Many people today are looking to build their own businesses. Sometimes they want to because they are a parent who wants to stay home with their children. Other times, it may be a desire to be their own boss that drives someone to want to own a business. It may even be just a way to bring in some extra cash, while working another job. No matter the reasoning behind it, many people are starting to look toward starting an online business.

If you already have a business that can be promoted online, you’ll want to set up a website to do this. For example, many photographers, artists and graphic designers are now promoting themselves and their businesses on the Internet. This helps bring in more customers, and therefore, more money.

You can also start from scratch. If you want to sell a product, first you’ll need to decide on a product that you’re comfortable with — then find a supplier that carries that product. If you make your own items to sell, this is easy to do. Many people today who do crafts successfully sell their products online. Even if you want to sell a product you don’t make, finding a supplier is generally not difficult. Another route you can go with an online business is to be an affiliate marketer. To do this, you would want to search for the top affiliate programs and try to work with them. You will need a website to do affiliate marketing, but often even a blog will work just fine, especially to start off with.

No matter what type of business you’re looking to get into or why you’re striving to build your own business, doing it on the Internet is a great option. Many people are heading online to find businesses they want to work with; get yours out there to be seen!

erstood. Outside the U.S., it refers to a farming method where livestock roam free and uncontained, however in the U.S., “Free Range” applies exclusively to poultry, and means “bird with a small outdoor patio.”. Most of us envision an all-inclusive chick resort where fat-breasted birds sunbathe topless, sipping drinks on a lanai overlooking a tropical paradise. In reality, “free range” means a cage with one end exposed to the elements. “Free range” turkey is out of the question. They;re stupid and require a full roof over their heads, otherwise, they’ll stand in the rain with their mouths agape, and drown.

“All natural,” doesn’t restrict the presence of growth hormones in meat, nor does it exclude organisms that have been genetically modified. The term “organic” is held to a strict list of policies, procedures and requirements before deeming a product worthy of that distinction.

The “no trans-fats” label, at least, is true, but in most cases, no trans-fats were present to begin with. The same for “Cholesterol free.” “Low-carb” is relative, the governor’s criteria being 20 grams per serving. Any diabetic can tell you, over time, that number might get you in trouble.

Studies reveal no appreciable benefit from choosing organically grown products vs. cultivated varieties. Meanwhile, consider the danger of ingesting a chemically-laden Hostess Twinkie, chock full of preservatives and pure cane sugar, anything but nutritious, but we owe our youthful skin to Hostess cakes, pies and Twinkies.

Food Pairing – The magic combinations that melt belly fat – fast!

Research by The Harvard School of Public Health has discovered that American women who have difficulty losing belly fat may actually be suffering from hyper-inflammation syndrome, a condition defined by chronically elevated levels of inflammatory compounds like C-reactive protein and prostaglandin E2. Eight out of ten American women are shown to have extraordinarily high levels of these compounds, at least 80% more than European women, who are generally thinner. The reasons for this epidemic? There are three known causes: toxic compounds present in our environment, stress, which taxes the immune system by as much as 55 percent, and chronic infections in the gut.

Continuous exposure to known toxic substances, such as smog particles and pesticides, can alter the membranes of fat storage cells and inhibit your body’s natural appetite-control mechanisms, destroying insulin receptors in the cells so they can’t take in glucose. The result? The brain is misled into believing the body is food-deprived, thus triggering the desire to overeat. This hyper-inflammation cycle triggers insatiable cravings for sugary foods and carbohydrates and activates the hormone cortisol, making it nearly impossible to burn fat stores. This hormone sets off biochemical reactions that damage DNA in the cells of the stomach lining and the brain, preventing the production of serotonin, one of nature’s most effective anti-inflammatory chemicals. It’s a vicious cycle, but changing the way you eat can resolve the inner inflammation that triggers weight gain.

The remedy is simply this: combine phytonutrient-laden foods with healthy fat sources. Both are anti-inflammatory, but when eaten together, their healing compounds are more effectively absorbed.

Phytonutrient foods include dark, leafy vegetables, cruciferous foods (broccoli and cauliflower), hot and sweet peppers, garlic, onions, chickpeas, black beans, kidney beans, whole-grains, and berries. Healthy fats include, avocados, olives and olive oil, raw nuts, nut butters, sesame, flaxseed and their oils, and Omega-3′s found in fortified eggs and fatty seafoods like salmon, shrimp, and halibut.

Combining foods from each of these lists can boost energy, clarify the skin, elevate moods, ward off diabetes, and prevent cancer turbo-charging your system to melt belly fat- fast!
